My Windows Live OneCare is telling me that I "Cannot connect to Microsoft Update". My internet connection works so I have to assume that something has changed on the Microsoft end. I have paid for 2 more months of service. Has Live OneCare service ended?

OneCare checks to make sure that no important updates are available at Microsoft Update during a Tune-up.
The fact that it was unable to reach Microsoft Update has nothing to do with your subscription status.
Go to Windows Update manually to check for updates. If you encounter a connectivity error, you can either contact support or start here for troubleshooting Windows Update issues:
