    Project Server 2010

    I have Multiple Date/Time Custom Fields.

    I am needing to make reporting based on difference between days.

    I created a CUSTOM DURATION FIELD, it works great on the PDP pages and shows the actual difference it will give output like (82d) etc...

    When I show this custom duration field in my excel services reports  it just does not work well .... it is not showing the same values at all as I see on the PDP pages, my problem seems to be with how to display the DURATION FIELDS in my report correctly. I dont need the D anymore it could be just the number, but eitherway I am just having horrible issues getting a nice pretty graph that would take projects that have DATE A and DATE B, calculate difference between each for the projects and graph by MONTH to show how the difference between days changes across the months.

    So much problem.,.....any pointers?

    I am trying to understand what you are saying  ;)

    • You have a custom duration field and I see the "d" indication in it... what is the field type?
    • What do you mean in your "horrible issue"? Are Date A and B two date fieds on project level, and do you want to visualise Date A - Date B in a timephased report?
    • other ?
