Proposed Customizing Portfolio Analyses 'Compare' Screen

    Hello everyone.

    Just wondering if anyone has had the need/has done customization to the Portfolio Analyses 'Compare' screen in PS2010.  For example, to add more fields and information to the screen and fill up the real estate?  Also to have the ability to have more than one cost field constraint (while still using the driver priorization -- I've done the custom field priorization and that isn't what we are after). 

    I would really rather not try to build our own compare screen from scratch.

    Hi Christine,

    As far as I am aware, that is an aspx page that pops through a dialog box. I am pretty sure editing that page is not possible without diving into the 14 hive and making changes in an unsupported manner.

    You could possibly create your own and re-wire the compare button to point to your version of the page, which of course you would control and would not be concerned that a CU / SP wipes out.

    Hi Alex.

    Thanks for the reply.  And it confirms my suspicions and my approach should I do something like this. Except instead of rewiring the existing Compare button, I was thinking that I would customize the ribbon and put my own on. 

    Always good even when the news is bad. :-)
