Unanswered Entering time in hours

    Hi ,

     As my customer wanted me to do, i ensured that the team members are able to update time only in hours under My Tasks. I modified the webpart (modify shared webpart) and under Project web access changed the value for duration format and work format to hours

    But still some users complain that the time is shown in days when the timephased view is chosen, while others are able to see hours. What could the problem be.

    Can i have a response pls, if it is related to cache can you guide me how to get rid of this problme

    Hi MP--

    I agree with you , In PS2007 you can modify the Shared Webpart to change the duration/work format.  It may because of the Browser cache. so deleting the cache should work fine.

    FYI: In PS2010 you have the control in the ribbon where you can set the default format.

       Ya we too agree with this but clearining also is not doing the magic. Wonder what is wrong. we are using ps2007

    Hi Mp--

    Could you please ask your user to try on some other machine & see if that works (atleast to confirm that it could be a machine specific & then we can go for another option)?
