Formatting & Saving Issues

I am using MSP 2010 Professional and I have been having several issues that occur randomly. I was wondering if anyone else had the same issues. They are as follows:
1. When working in the Gantt Chart view all of the formatting I perform (i.e. adding gridlines, changing milestone colors, etc.) appears correctly and as I chose. Unfortunately in Print Preview and in the documents I print, the gridlines skip over non-working days and a random assortment of my colored milestones change themselves back to the default color. Again this is only in the Print functions, not in the actual working Gantt view.
2. Occaisionally when I save files as a PDF, I get an error message stating that "[", "!" and "]" cannot be used in the file name. I do not have any punctuation characters in any of my file names.
These issues are becoming a problem for me. I have to deal with these types of issues all of the time with this version of the program. I do not recall having so many issues with past releases. I have all of the SPs to date for Windows and MSP. Is anyone else getting these issues??? Although I appreciate input from all, it would be nice to have some interaction with someone from Microsoft. They only seem to contribute if, for example, someone needs to remove a product key off their post.

KAR_120_C,
Does this happen with all files, or just a particular file?
If you in fact have SP1 installed for Project 2010, then you may have a corrupt file. Go to the MVP website at, http://www.mvps.org/project/faqs.htm, and take a look at FAQ 43 - Handling project file corruption and/or bloat. Use one or more of the methods listed that is applicable to Project 2010 (no all are).
Since this issues seem to center around printing, have you verified that your printer drivers are up to date?

The gridlines issue occurs on every file. The other formatting issues happen randomly, about 50% of my files have some form of formatting issue. I have also confirmed that these issues occur with other users of MSP in my office. I have looked at the FAQ that you referred me to, I will try the method that applies to 2010, perhaps that will help.
Would my printer drivers affect how MSP views the file in Print Preview? If it does, perhaps that may be a problem and I will try to address these issues that way. Thank you John for your suggestions.

KAR_120_C,
Just for reference, FAQ 43 methods 1, 3, 4 and of course 5 all apply to Project 2010. And just because one doesn't help, it doesn't hurt to try 1, 3 & 4.
I don't really know if print driver come into play for print preview. Probably not, but it certainly doesn't hurt to make sure they are updated. I personally never print project files so I don't know of potential quirks.
