    Hello,

Excel import cannot change actual start date and actual end date with following operations.
-1. Open local project (.mpp file created by Project Professional 2010) by Project Professional 2010.
-2. Save as file, type is excel format. (such as .xlsx or .xls)
-3. Set following options on Export Wizard.
        Data Format : Selected Data
        Map : New Map
        Data Type : Task (only)
Microsoft Excel Option : Include Header
Map : (Excel Fields are default)
            Unique ID
            Task Name
            Actual Start Date
            Actual End Date
-4. Change / Set Actual Start Dates and Actual End Dates.
-5. Open excel file created at -3..
-6. Set Following options on Inport Wizard.
        Map : New Map
        Way of Import : Marge
        Data Type : Task (only)
Microsoft Excel Option : Include Header
        Map : (All are default)
            Unique ID
            Task Name
            Actual Start Date
            Actual End Date
-7. Actual Start Date and Actual End Date of all tasks are not changed, like no operation.

If I directly input Actual Start Date or Actual End Date, Actual Start Date or Actual End Date are changed input value.
But if I input by Import Wizard, Actual Start Date and Actual End Date are not changed, ignore values in excel file.

Why Import Wizard ignore values in excel file ?

    Thanks,

Do the tasks in question have assignments and/or % complete defined? Are those values also being exported and then re-imported?
