    Hello,

I have already asked this question and got answers but it still doesn't work as I expected, so I will try again.
I created some generic resources and gave them a role (Enterprise custom field).
then I created a new proposal without tasks.
I imported the generic resource by using the build team option and than assign them to the proposal by
    the resource plan option.
Than I published the proposal and created a new Portfolio analysis.
I mark the check box "Analyze time-phased project resource....." and at the resource role custom field I select the "role" field.
At the next screen: "Prioritize projects" I've got the following red message: "4 out of 4 projects have no resource requirements.
Check the analysis settings and try again".

    What am I missing ?

    Thanks

    Pnina.

You're probably missing the resource utilization type in the Resource Plan, as I explained in the previous post.

Open your Resource Plan, and look for a ribbon group called Resource Utilization, in the Plan ribbon tab. In that group, there's a drop-down with the description "Calculate from:". It's value needs to be set to "Resource Plan" not "Project Plan". After you change it, save and publish the Resource Plan and try to create another Analysis.

Let me know if it works.

    Hello Marius,

Thank you very much for the answer. the problem was the "Calculate from...".

Now, I have another problem... at the analyze resources I'm getting the following error message:

The portfolio selection scenario could not be calculated because of one or more of the following reasons:
    An unknown error has occurred.
    An unknown error has occurred.
    An unknown error has occurred.
    An unknown error has occurred.
    An unknown error has occurred.

Yes, this isn't a mistake, I got it 5 times.

Any Idea what went wrong ?

    Thanks

It looks like you have a queue job failure. What's the failure message? Also, what do the logs say?
