    Hi All,

Is there a way to move Project Server 2007 workspace with data including version history to SharePoint 2007 standard edition?  Functions/capability of Project Server is not required.  Project Server database is 32 bit and SharePoint 2007 database is 64bit.

    Thanks, Rox

The project site info, including the documents and their versions, etc would all be in the SharePoint content database not in the project server database so technically, they are all already in SharePoint.

    Hi,

Just be mindful that the 2007 workspace will have features / contenttypes specific to a Project workspace that won't be in your SP2007 standand edition farm / site.  This may cause issues when migrating.

    Hi All,

    Thanks for replying.

Brian - are you saying that I can attach the Project server content database into SharePoint?  It would be great if it can.

Alexander - Yes, I agreed.  So far I haven't seen anywhere on the Internet that people are successful in migrating Project Server into SharePoint.

I tried exporting a Project Server website via stsadm command and importing into SharePoint.  However, I get the following error message:

"Could not find WebTemplate PWS#6215 with LCID 1033."

I even tried creating a blank site template, a team site teamplate and run stsadm -o import command, but failed with the same error message.

    Any help would be appreciated!

    Thanks, Rox

Im saying you dont have to attach the project server content DB since it is already 'IN' sharepoint.
