    Hi

I am getting the below error in the ULS logs while using AD sync in Project Server 2010

'A resource could not be updated during Project Server Active Directory Synchronization.Error: AdminNTAccountNotFound'

This occurs for all users deactivated in AD and not present in Manager Users page.

Due to this, AD sync always fails with the error

'Some user data was not updated because synchronization of the Enterprise Resource Pool partially failed on 10/20/2011 at 7:50 PM. To identify where the errors occurred, see the Windows event log on the server.'

    Hello Senthil,

If the user is no longer present in PWA , I would suggest to remove the users from AD security group which is beging used during AD sync from PWA.

    Thanks,

It's a known issue.  Deactivated users will cause the partial fail.  Hrishid's
recommendation is the only solution I've come across: remove deactivated
users from the appropriate AD groups.

There is a fix coming for the issue with AdminNTAccountNotFound error when the AD Sync comes across a user who has been de-activated in AD.  At this time we anticipate the fix being in the June 2012 Cumulative Update - but I can't make a definate promise on this as we are still working on it.

    Best regards,

    Brian.
