    For some reason when one of my project managers open projects, sporaticly tasks that had previously been closed / marked 100% are open again.  This is happening on different projects.

    What could cause this and what can be done to fix it?

    Is it possible that resources are entering remaining work values in their My Tasks view in PWA? That is certainly one easy way for this to happen.

    Hi Michael,

    We had the same issue and opened a case with Microsoft Premier Support about 6 months ago.  The fix was included in the December 2011 CU but you will need to install both the server and the client CU.  We applied the CU in January and have not seen the problem since.

    Thank you Brian, I agree that could have been the case, so I verified that they were not entering remaining work.

    Hey Skip,

      We just upgraded to SP3 and the February 2012 CU and will be monitoring for the issue.

    This appears to still be happening but Microsoft stated there are issues with the Feb and April 2012 CU's that is now causing us some other issues.  I'll update once we install the June CU to fix the Feb / April CU's.
