project server 2010: setting and bulk editing assignment attributes

Hi,
I need to bulk edit about 2000 resource in the resource center to set the timesheet manager and the default assignment owner. I have selected all the resources and went to bulk edit but the assignment attributes do not appear if one of the selected resources already has a timesheet manager or a default assignment owner. Is it possible to change the assignment attributes for all users (users without assignment attributes and users with already existing assignment attributes) at the same time to the same values of assignment attributes? Is there a way to set the timesheet manager and the default assignment owner that will always appear by default when creating a new resource or when synchronizing resources with the AD?Thanks, George

Hi George,
I can't reproduce your issue (ok, my test environment has no 2000 resources). But I think the issue is related to somthing different. Before selecting all resources, try to apply a filter for
- only non generic resources
- only resource of type "work"
- no budget resources
Does that help?

Hi George,
There is a problem with trying to bulk edit more than about 400 resources.
See Brian's Blog here, as it will shed some light on your issue.
Also add a custom filter for the resource name, begins with, a, b, c, etc.
Hope that Helps some.
