Hi,
Is it possible to create a new Project Site with a Site template which is not the Default Site Template?
Thanks

Yes, that's possible. You can easily save a current project site as a site template and activate the solution. And choose it in the Enterprise Project Types

Hi Expscornovus,
This blog doesn't answer my question. I already have several project Site Templates. Only one of them is the default one. How can I use another template for a specific projet, without changing the default?
Thanks

Sorry I misunderstood. Is it just for a single project site?
If that's the case I would probably go and delete the default provisioned site via the Project Site in the Operational Policies section. After that I would create a new site via site actions menu (based on one of the other available templates). And finally link the new site via Edit Site Address, again via Project Sites.http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg982977.aspx
Hope this helps.- Proposed As Answer by Alexander Burton [MVP]MVP, Moderator Saturday, April 14, 2012 11:38 PM

Yes, it's just for a single project site.
That's why I would like to preserve the default provisioned site.
Thanks

Monday, April 16, 2012 2:55 PMGood suggestion from Expiscornovus. If however this is more tailored to a certain 'type' of project and therefore something repeatable then I would suggest creating a new enterprise project type and setting that type to use the correct project site template. Use the above solution however for a one-off scenario.
