The mod likely deleted it. Mike did that a lot. People didn't like it. =^)
Not sure if it was Mike or another mod though. What forum?

It wasn't me !!
Two good reasons
1. I don't visit the forums any more (this post is from a bot).
2. I don't have Moderator rights anywhere (and without them you can't delete)
Mike
As for "people didn't like it", why do you think I lost my Moderator rights? (I always had good reason for deletions though)

Mike,
I know it wasn't you. Look at the initial date on the thread.

Oops. Sorry I missed the date. I hate it when Ed resurrects such ancient posts ... (Not really "hate", Ed :) that's too strong, but I wish you would not pick up on *all* old unanswered threads).
I was around in 2009 and with Moderator rights, but it was before I discovered Deleting as a technique preferable to telling people they had posted for the nth time to completely the wrong forum and once again moving their posts. Given, too, that I was never a Moderator of a Basic General forum, you're right Renee, it certainly wasn't me.

So Renee, it sounds like you don't care about this anymore?
"What forum" means "Could you please provide a link, so that we don't have to go fishing?"
Thanks!

That is correct.
I DID PROVIDE THE FORUM NAME in my complaint.
Thank you.

Right. I asked for the link to get to it. I'll look it up. Must be on MSDN if it's VB.

This one...? http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/vbgeneral/threads
Renee, is this still an issue?
Thanks!
