Hey, it doesn't work the download here www.sharedview.com (the download button is pointing a internal server)

    and neither here http://www.connect.microsoft.com/content/content.aspx?ContentID=5306&SiteID=94

(the setup is stopping looking for a sharedview.msi missing)

    Could you help?

    Thanks

    Hi Marco,

You can download it directly here: http://r.office.microsoft.com/r/rlidSV?clid=1033&p1=1&p2=download_msi

To help resolve the issues you've seen, can you please give us more details?  Where is the download button pointing on www.sharedview.com?  Also, can you elaborate on your experience with the connect.microsoft.com site?

    Thanks

Hi... I've been a user of ideas.live.com for some time now, I've been a user of connect for some time now and I can truly say that they both are very interesting ways of delivering new betas.

About the issues you mention in this thread, I'm still having them, the download buttons point to https://imagine-s

The link you provided, http://r.office.microsoft.com/r/rlidSV?clid=1033&p1=1&p2=download_msi works great, however it seems to be the same beta we already had since May.

The application is very stable, only have had two issues but have not been able to reproduce and they cause the app to freeze and the session to end unexpectedly.

Running on Windows XP, sometimes the invited person has to be invited twice in order to get the app running.

On the rest it has resulted to be a a very good alternative to remote control that comes in XP and Vista (which is not stable at all and does not work through firewalls)

    Greetings.

    Mauricio

Hi, I made a mistake in the last post... that is indeed a new version. The link is exactly the same as the old version's, so that's why I made the mistake.

More stability so far, have still to test against the XP machine that needed two invitations.

A new thing: The messenger's contact list in this version is very difficult to navigate (shows contacts in groups by availability, but cannot close groups).

Noticed the control requests are very slow to appear in the remote end.

Great look... Keep the good work!!!

Very useful from a personal and business perspective. I like the control-sharing function, as well as the ability to provide "handouts."

    Hi O66,

Multiple monitor support will not be available in our next release, however, i'll log your suggestion for consideration in other releases.

Thanks for using SharedView and providing your feedback.
