    Why I can't use thirdparty sip client login to lync?

    or lync doesn't support thirdparty sip client?

    Microsoft Lync uses a specific implementation of SIP which includes extensions and customizations to the SIP standard.  Thus only clients or endpoints specifically written to 'speak' Microsoft SIP can natively register to the Lync servers.
