Contrast that with this text.

67% is not a functional font size which is the basefont size set in the body element. That means that in the browser 1em now equals 2/3rds of what I have my computer set to use. Some elements are even smaller at .75em. Do the math - some of the test is 50.25% of my computer's font size settings. Even worse Verdana is specified as the first font which is 20% larger than Arial which is the second font specified. So if I visit the forums on a Mac that doesn't have Verdana they will see it even smaller. (Though the only Mac program in the suite probably installs Verdana on Macs, the point is that unless there is some MS program that install Verdana it is not a standard Mac font.)

MS MVP Expression Tutorials & Help http://by-expression.com and online instructor led Expression ClassesFri, 26 Jun 2009 14:37:59 Z2009-06-26T14:37:59Zhttp://social.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/suggest/thread/1c23445a-3038-4b49-8317-1afdeb9af4ca#7b43c46c-6893-407a-9d44-10971779d074http://social.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/suggest/thread/1c23445a-3038-4b49-8317-1afdeb9af4ca#7b43c46c-6893-407a-9d44-10971779d074Veignhttp://social.microsoft.com/Profile/en-US/?user=VeignOT: Why did MS change the look of the postsLooks like it changed again. As of this morning, at least for me, it looked like this:

--
Chris Hanscom - Microsoft MVP
Resource Center | Veign's Blog | Web Development Help

Get a Complete Website Analysis by VeignFri, 26 Jun 2009 14:40:50 Z2009-06-26T14:40:50Zhttp://social.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/suggest/thread/1c23445a-3038-4b49-8317-1afdeb9af4ca#8b5a9133-ff20-4400-9303-ca756ae4423bhttp://social.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/suggest/thread/1c23445a-3038-4b49-8317-1afdeb9af4ca#8b5a9133-ff20-4400-9303-ca756ae4423bPreston Bhttp://social.microsoft.com/Profile/en-US/?user=Preston%20BOT: Why did MS change the look of the posts
I sure wish they would fix the Edit bug! How useful!

But bumping a post to the top because of number of helpful votes is VERY disorienting. I can't follow the logical development of thought in my own threads because somebody found some reply helpful, and then it takes me time to figure what new post there was and what it was in response to.

EDIT:
I adjusted the view to threading in my settings, and now can follow the flow better (and disabled answers going to top, yeah!), even if someone marks a post as helpful.Sat, 27 Jun 2009 00:00:52 Z2009-07-01T04:35:31Z
