Unanswered Help - 0x745f2780

    get a "svchost.exe-Application Error" upon booting. States "0x745f2780" referenced memory at "0x00000000". The memory could not be "read".

    Anyone know how to resolve?

    it happens sometimes for me too...i came to know that its a problem with the OS and theres no problem in the hardware so no need to worry...

    Automatic Updates is the "problem", it appears to be true that if we disable
    this service the error will not appear upon restart.

    You can get an update for this problem in Windows XP (KB894391) and have to download and install that patch manually.

    But when I run this update It does not work very well. You can try this update, it might work on your system.

    But results till now, are not very positive.

    This kind of error occurs when an incompatible service starts with Windows. Examples of such application is : Personal Oracle 8.

    Remove this kind of application and you'll b through with the error.
