Locked Cannot install hub transport role on Exchange 2007 SP1

    I'm trying to reinstall the hub transport role , already applied Rollup9.

    The error during installation is:

    Opening package C:\program files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\TransportRoles\agents\Hygiene\ASDat.MSI failed. This installation package could not be opened. Contact the application vendor to verify that is a valid windows installer package. Error code is 1620.

    Please Microsoft can you help me?

      • Any detail information can you see in setup log?
                Exchange 2007 setup logs and how to use them to troubleshoot setup

      • Can you re-download the setup source from Microsoft site and extract on local drive and try to run again?

        Hello Federico, 

        Do you have any legacy Exchange servers in the environment?

        Post the corresponding events in the App logs as well as the ExchangeSetup.log.
