StickyHow do I send reports?

    You can send reports to stay in touch, informed, and involved with the people you care about when you don’t need an immediate response. For situations that warrant a quicker response, send an alert.

    You can send reports to your Emergency Contacts group or to a specific group you have created.

    Send a report to check in during a crisis or share your status

    1.     On the dashboard, click Post Report, and then in the Report field, select Check in safe and well.

    2.     Select the Okay or Not okay radio button, enter a message, and then enter a request as needed.

    3.     To provide people a way to contact you, select Best way to reach me and enter a phone number or e-mail address.

    4.     To provide people a way to locate you, select Add a location, and then select a saved place or enter a location.

    5.     In the Post to field, select a group to receive this report, and then click Post Report.

    Report upcoming plans, such as a vacation

    1.     On the dashboard, click Post Report, and then in the Report field, select Report Upcoming Plans.

    2.     In the What field, select a type of plan, and then enter a message to send to your people.

    3.     In the When fields, enter a start and an end date for the plans in MM/DD/YYYY format or by using the calendar control.

    4.     In the Where field, select a saved place or enter a location.

    5.     If you are visiting multiple locations, click Add another destination and provide when and where information.

    6.     To provide people a way to contact you, click Best way to reach me and enter a phone number or e-mail address.

    7.     In the Post to field, select a group to receive this report, and then click Post Report.

    Report a developing situation

    1.     On the dashboard, click Post Report, and then in the Report field, select Report a Situation.

    2.     In the Situation field, select a situation type, enter a message to send to your people, and then enter an action they can take, if any.

    3.     To provide people a way to locate you, select Add a location, and then select a saved place or enter a location.

    4.     To provide people a way to contact you, select Best way to reach me and enter a phone number or e-mail address.

    5.     In the Post to field, select a group to receive this report, and then click Post Report.

    Share general information, such as upcoming events or noteworthy finds

    1.     On the dashboard, click Post Report, and then in the Report field, select General Information.

    2.     Describe the report in the Subject area by selecting items from the Describe and It lists, and then type a message in the News field.

    3.     To provide people a way to locate you, select Add a location, and then select a saved place or enter a location.

    4.     To provide people a way to contact you, select Best way to reach me and enter a phone number or e-mail address.

    5.     In the Post to field, select a group to receive this report, and then click Post Report.
