Questionemail problem

    I am running Windows XP ..SP2  Whenever I try to open a "wmv" attachment to an email I get the following Message;  "There is no application associated with this type of file. Would you like to save the attachment instead?" Does ayone know what causes this and how I can get rid of it? I am on Firefox.

    Hi.

    I think you tried to open media file (wmv) through the browser, like a pdf or a text file; but It isn't possible. You can't play media files in browsers without assocaiting a software as default player for this type of applications or an add-on for it. You can download wmv file to your pc and play it with a media player software.
