Is it possible to use the API to create a search engine that returns results that are limited to pages hosted on a given list of domains.

For example:  Let's say you have 1000+ domains that you are interested in.  A user goes to your website and submits a query.  Using the API, you send a query asking Live.com to return results that are hosted at the aforementioned domains only.

Possible, maybe (there are some variables to assess to verify if we can service this type of scenario today), simple and out-of-the-box, we are not quite right there yet.

You should contact me offline through api_tou at microsoft dot com and we can evaluate your scenario in detail to see if we can help.
