MS Bot sees site as dutch incorrectly

Hi,

I hope someone can help with this. Our website www.doortechnik.co.uk hasn't been ranking on live for a while and I think it's because the MSNBOT thinks our pages are in Dutch, just not all pages. They all have the same doctype etc and there are no dutch words in there as far as I know.

To try and fix it I've added this tag:

to all pages. Will this work, or is there a better way of doing it?

Yahoo has a service for $49/year and they will crawl your main page once a week. Why not offer a service like that?

Ok, I know its a stupid question but i searched for my site for a key word web site hosting, well my site was on the second page but the content on my page was way more then the people on the first page, pluse my score on my page is all the way up and also on my ip score. so im a little confused, could my page content be confusing the search spider?

All pages but homepage de-indexed - Brett can U help?

Hi Live/Brett,

Here is my website http://hostingwebsitecoupons.com/ . It has 462 pages submitted in the sitemaps & a month or so ago almost the complete site was indexed & I was also getting decent traffic from live search. I could see all the indexed pages in the webmaster live tools. But when the traffic dropped considerably & I checked my webmaster Live i was surprised to find that only the homepage is indexed & all other pages have been dropped. Though no errors are shown & the homepage was crawled recently. I doubt if this is because due to a plugin the recently introduced <link rel = canonical> attribute got added to all pages of my site. Please help me ASAP on this.

Why can I see the correct authentication <meta> tag in the <head> portion of my web page but clicking on the site in the site list returns a message that the authentication code is not found?

Problem with my Robots.txt file

When I've validated robots.txt on webmaster tool, it give me error about the *, This is file contents:

User-agent: Mediapartners-Google*
Disallow:

User-agent: *
Disallow: /_private

User-agent: *
Disallow: /indexold.htm

So, what is the problem here?
Validator says also that sitemap is not specifed. How can I specify the sitemap here?
Note: I am not expert in editing robots.txt, so give me explained replies please.

The situation is getting worse to my website. My site at www.easytourchina.com has gradually disappeared from MSN since last year. But when I logged in webmaster tool at Live.com. I could still see the number of indexed page were growing, though I couldn't find my site at search result of MSN. But now I found all the info was gone like below:

Last crawled: N/A	Indexed pages: N/A
Domain score: N/A	Blocked: No

Is there anyone know what happened to my site? Is there a solution for that?

Help With Meta Tag Verification

I have been trying to get www.aperionpropertymgmt.com, verified through the webmaster tools using meta tag verification and have been unsuccessful. I can't use the xml verifier because of my hosting company restrictions. Any suggestions?

I see that I still have only one page indexed by msn and that is my non-www home page. I have set up a 301 redirect and everybody else seems to acccept my redirect no problem. Is there anything you can recommand to do? It is disapointing to get on the 4th page for my main keyword but it is to my non-www home page. Please, anything helps. Here is my link.

Site has disappeared after previously been indexed

Our site has disapeared from MSN and live search after having been previously indexed. Web master tools used to show the indexed pages but now say that no information is available, the site has not been blocked as indicated by the webmaster tools. I have resubmitted the web site. But there has not been any indication of problems. Why would such a thing happen? I have noticed that other sites that used to come up with our domain as the search term are no longer visible either.

Is there anything else I should be doing? Like preiodically re-submitting the website?

I canonicalized www.pianolessonscourse.com by putting the code:

Similar to other postings in this forum, I am working with a longstanding website, bchydro.com, that cannot be added as a site in Webmaster Tools -- it produces the error "The site address isn't valid".

The site does appear in the Live Search index when I search on "BC Hydro", so I am confused by the error.

Hey

I am trying to get my business listed in the Live Search local businesses section.

Why MSBot see our website in the wrong language?

One of my clients website is flagged as if it's a Dutch website fro some reason. I have no idea why.
We are the first registere of the domain names, so it can't be the previous owners website.
All the meta tags are "en-us".
The dedicated server is physically in the US. So the region shows it as "US"
There are no words what soever in Dutch in any part of the website.
All the HTTP headers are checked as well.
I don't understand why MSBot sees it asif the website is in Dutch.

Hello, i downloaded Live Messenger Web Toolkit sample from here : http://messenger.mslivelabs.com/Samples.zip

And i want to just test it, not put it in production. I tried to register application with sample domains(example.com/testproject.com/localhost), write redirect line in hosts file 127.0.0.1 example.com but when I try to use sample I get error: "Domain does not match registered domain"

Does I really need register real domain, just to test how it works ? Or how to get rid of this error?

Offive Live verification issues

You first answered a queation on this back in early December last year, nearly 4 months ago. It is clearly not satisfactory that a webmaster using Office Live, which is in many resoects excellent, cannot verify his or her site with either Google or MSN.

For a Windows Office Live site to be unverifiable on MSN is ridiculous. What is being done to rectify this issue??
