    Unfortunately, our tool only accepts .xml.

    Thank you for your feedback. We are constantly working to provide webmasters with a richer toolset. As much as that sounds like a cookie cutter response, it is a true nonetheless.

    Our tools only accept sitemaps. What does the RSS feed contain?

    Hiya- first post here!!

     

    You can submit RSS feeds to Google as well in the Google Webmaster tools.  I believe this is a recognized format from sitemaps.org (see- Other Sitemap formats) . Though an RSS format sitemap provides limited information they are usually used in addition to and not in lieu of an XML sitemap.

    Then this would be a great opportunity for improvement for Live, just to comply with the sitemap protocol not to mention staying up with the competition, i.e. Google and Yahoo......

    Yes, Google is offering much detailed webmaster control panel.  But MSN Live is better than Yahoo.
