QuestionTrivial Responses from Microsoft Math 3.0 Equation Solver

    I'm having a strange problem with Microsoft Math 3.0 Equation Solver. When I try to solve _any_ system of two equations in two variables, the solution _always_ responds with variables are elements in the set of real numbers, and that's it. For example:

    Input: solve({x+y=2, 2x-3y=4}, {x, y})

    Solution: {x Î R, y Î R}

    Has anyone seen this problem or does anyone know how to resolve it? Thanks!

    Running Microsoft Math 3.0, sucessfully activated, under Vista SP2.
