In one of the microsoft forums, pro tech kind or not--can't recall, I asked a question. Then just as I closed the page I realized, too late, that I should have checked a box requiring an email should someone answer my emails. Since I did not check it now means I will never be notified when an answer exists. My question is this, knowing what Windows Live username or email I used for signing in 'this' forum, is there any way of tracing it--finding out which forum it was that I posted my question?
Thank you

looks like a duplicate of http://social.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/suggest/thread/d6b36d4d-ae10-4a50-9f86-e75c1c53dd0a

thanks for trying to help (even if it is 5 months later) I truly do appreciate it. The link you game isn't mine and can't be since my username is not there asking a question. (BTW you have helped me before I think so thanks again for that as well.)
thanks again

In general, you can find your recent posts by looking at your Profile (My Profile). Then click on the Activity tab:

Hi
Once again thanks but it is not necessarily in this forum in particular I was referring to. As I wrote, "one of the microsoft forums"
I believe there are quite a few of them from tech ones, to administrator ones, from every body else ones to office ones, etc. etc. Therefore let's just say just for fun that Microsoft has 14 different forums. So I was wondering if it was possible to find out where amongst these 14 I asked my question ( without having to go to each and everyone of them one by one) One simple search some where that would scan all of them.

Not really. You can search and find interesting things: http://www.bing.com/search?q=pintree+whatever+works+microsoft.com&qs=n&form=QBRE&pq=pintree+whatever+works+microsoft.com&sc=0-0&sp=-1&sk=
I'd also try pvdg42's suggestion, because the TechNet, MSDN, Microsoft, and Expression forums are all tied into the same profile system.
Thanks!
