Macros missing

Hello,
I'm having a big issue with my work pc.
It is running XP professional and I use a program to make documents that will then use word 2007 to generate a docx file. Recently it will not generate the docx file.
The problem seems to be a missing or a disabled macro. I went into the settings and enabled all macros and it still doesn't work.
Is is possible to use one of the docx files that was previously generated and get the macro off of it?
If so, how can I do this and what do I name it and where to a save it?
I don't have access to the programs tech support anymore so I'm on my own on this.
Thank you in advance.
HL

"I don't have access to the programs tech support anymore ".
Why? Is the publisher out of business? Perhaps if you would provide the name and version of the program in question, we could suggest an appropriate forum where you could get help.

I am moving your question to the moderator forum ("Where is the forum for..?"). The owner of the forum will direct you to a right forum. Thanks for your understanding.

My program is a medical documentation software that was purchased by the previous owner of a clinic that I purchased.
The tech support was only good for 1 year and the software was purchased in 2008.
The program is call Rapid EMR by ACOM.

Sorry for putting this in the wrong section. I'm not familiar with most of the technical language used in the form.
