I am about to rebuild my HTPC and it will feature my first SSD. Instead of shrinking and cloning/imaging my OS drive (HDD), I am thinking of not only a fresh install but a custom, unattended, nLite'd (language packs, etc) and all motherboard/device drivers imagine using Windows AIK and rt7Lite.

I was wondering if I could deploy this image using my WHS 2011 box? Could I even use the Recovery Client disc?

I'm going be doing Windows 7 training soon so this would be a good test using my own hardware.

Windows Home Server won't let you customize a restored image for particular hardware so no, you can't use it for this.

I'm not on the WHS team, I just post a lot. :)
