    Hello everyone,

    Upgraded the HP EX470 to 2GB of RAM and was recoginized on WHSv1. Had some troubles installing WHS 2011 but finally got it installed. However, I am stuck.

    I inputted the password at the screen when asked, and inputted it twice as is needed during installation. However, when I try to install the connector software and input the password, it won't accept it. I can't get in that way or through the remote desktop connector. I don't know what could be wrong. A couple of notes:

    -I couldn't get my OEM key to work at the security window, so I skipped it. This is a legit (I HOPE!) version I bought from Newegg 3 weeks ago.

    -I chose to do no updates to the system, just to do the installation and then I planned to do updates once I could get in.

    Any reason why the server wouldn't accept my password once I've inputted it? Or my security key for that matter when I try at the server start??

    Is it possible you tried to enter some characters durring setup that are not suitable

    for password use? ie ;'/?.,<>":[]{}=+-_()*&^%$#@!

    Or is it possible your keyboard malfunctioned which would explain not being able

    to enter the product key?

    Had some troubles installing WHS 2011 but finally got it installed. However, I am stuck.
    I would be inclined to start again - what were the problems you encountered during installation?
