    Hi,

Just thought I'd let you know I received this PC from ebuyer on Saturday and installed WHS on it and all went well ( I upgraded the ram to 1GB and am still waiting for an additional 250gb drive) as it is the cheapest pre-built PC I could find.

I thought it may be useful for those wanting to take the beta plunge but without available equipment to repurpose.

    Cheers

Have you installed the Connector software on the client PCs?

Are they Windows XP Pro x64?

i cant install the client software, since it wont even connect. The client pcs are windowsxp pro on both of them. I have checked windows update for any type of driver updates, for both server and client and I get nothing. so im kinda stuck. I have configured the WHS and made client accounts and everything, but I cant connect to it, and try the backups and the remote connections goodies.

Do you have a router? What model is it?

From the server, run  "ipconfig /all" to work out what IP address it has.
