    I havent used WHS Remote Access for a while and i have now forgotten my username and password. Is there any way to find out what they are or to set up a new username and password

    User names can be viewed and passwords can be set using the console (if a V1 server) or dashboard (if a WHS 2011 server).

    If what you really mean is that you've forgotten the password that lets you run the console/dashboard (which is the password for the server's Administrator account), your password hint may help you remember it. If it doesn't (or if you didn't set one), there's no supported way to reset or otherwise recover the password. You might be able to find a tool that will crack the administrator password by clever use of a search engine, but otherwise you're looking at reinstalling Windows Home Server.

    I'm not on the WHS team, I just post a lot. :)

    I am  going thru same thing. But how do you reinstall Windows Home Server? it says to use a disc, but i had 3 in my package. I know one is for client computer restore. One is a pre installation disc. and the last is the install disc, but as microsofts instructions, i cant find the "reinstall" button selection under install. i am afraid to delete all my data.

    help please
