    My zoom adsl X6 doesn't work with the remote access.  What router does?

    I have a Linksys WRT54GS Ver 2.0. I know other people here has Dlink.

     

    Is your model Zoom ADSL-X6-5590? If so please check out portforward.com. This is an example how to forward Remote Desktop. If this can be done, then you can forward all your WHS ports. E.G Port 443, and Port 4125

    I also have the same problem with my zoom X6.  I have port forwarding set up correctly and I even tried placing the WHS into a DMZ and remote access still won't work.  I don't want to get a new gateway to make this work but it looks like I might have to.

    It can be done but you won't be able to see the server's website using your own internet connection.  I can't remember the details on how to get it to work but the support staff at zoom was very helpful and walked me through setting it up.
