Lan Card Repaclement Sugestions on what works

  Amazingly enough my older  but powerful Sony Vaio Desktop has had very few hardware issues so far (but the Lan card is not recognized and the drivers I can find don't work). Anyone who had replaced a LAN card that they know works well would like to see a post.
