    The network component shows an error in the device manager : device cannot start , error 10
    Solution : Install the beta Networking driver 4.7.1.0.

    Please note that install only this version , i tried to install several drivers and therefore damaged my windows installation - and must reinstall the whole win server.

    Thats a tip for anyone who have problems with the networking on an nforce 2 chipset.

    Any chance you’ve got another embedded NIC on your mobo?

    I installed WHS to an Asus A7N8X Deluxe motherboard and no matter what I did, what drivers I used (granted its 2003 support is flakey) I could not get the NVIDIA NIC to work... so instead I disabled it and used the 3com instead.
