I am trying to connect to an HP Media Smart server on our network. We have another WHS connected to this network as well. The client is connecting to the wrong ser ver. How can I stop this?

Are you given the option of entering the name of the server you want to connect to? You should be. If so, try entering the name of the HP, instead of the server you're getting.

Or you can simply temporarily shut down the server that's interfering with your connection attempt. Once the connector is installed and a client computer is joined to a particular server, it won't have any trouble staying connected to that server.

I'm not on the WHS team, I just post a lot. :)
