"Error retrieving status data

Check the status of your home server in the Windows Home Server
console for more information."

Sunday, July 26, 2009 9:33 AMModeratorA couple of quick questions :
1 - what version of Windows are you using for Media Center?
2 - is its Win 7 - which build?
3 - have you filed a bug report on Connect yet?

Sunday, July 26, 2009 2:12 PMAndrew,
1&2- This is the Win7 RC build.
3- I "validated" bug id 471398.
(Searching connect for "status not available" finds it)
I just tried this on my wife's Vista laptop- same situation so it would seem to be server related rather than client related I guess...

Not a lot really. Just APC Powerchute. There's a wiki and a blog running under IIS. As far as addins, I'm running Whiist and the WHS Toolkit. I keep it fairly clean.
