Console View: Error retrieving status data
-
Wednesday, July 22, 2009 3:57 AMAnyone else having this problem? When I click on the new "console view" in Media Center I get a screen saying:
"Error retrieving status data
Status is not available for your home server.
Check the status of your home server in the Windows Home Server
console for more information."
No other problems, and no status problems in the home server console...
Thanks,
Mark

Sunday, July 26, 2009 9:33 AMModeratorA couple of quick questions :
1 - what version of Windows are you using for Media Center?
2 - is its Win 7 - which build?
3 - have you filed a bug report on Connect yet?

1&2- This is the Win7 RC build.
3- I "validated" bug id 471398.
(Searching connect for "status not available" finds it)
I just tried this on my wife's Vista laptop- same situation so it would seem to be server related rather than client related I guess... -

Not a lot really. Just APC Powerchute. There's a wiki and a blog running under IIS. As far as addins, I'm running Whiist and the WHS Toolkit. I keep it fairly clean.
