The volume does not contain a recognized file system

Tuesday, August 04, 2009 4:56 AMhi, am getting an error message : "The volume does not contain a recognized file system.Please make sure that all required file system drivers are loaded and that the volume is not corrupted" while tryin to open my D drive.. can anyone help me wit this??

You can try to open a command prompt as Administrator and run the command
chkdsk d: /r /x
