Networking Error?

I have installed WHS fine on my pc, and my two clients are fully functional and I took a full backup last night (13th April). However when I log onto my actual server with the Administrator account (not checked with any others) and I click the desktop icon to access the shared areas I get an error message saying
I have checked all the permissions of the folders, and have checked the shortcut target and all seems fine apart from when I click "Find Target", it displays the three types of network usually found in Network Places (higher than the actual workgroup in the heirarchy).
All my clients can access the shares fine, it is just this shortcut. Is this a known bug or is it just my server?

Have you tried pinging localhost from the server? It should respond with the IP address 127.0.0.1. Is it possible that you have changed firewall settings on WHS, and that is causing a problem? -

Hi Ken,
I have pinged localhost using my server and all four packets sent were recieved with a 0% loss. As for the firewall, only Windows Firewall is installed at the moment and I have not changed or adapted any settings for this. Thankyou for the bug submission link (MS Connect). Becuase its not such a huge problem I will just add a validation to this bug unless there are any other ideas that anyone has.
Ollie.

try to reboot the MSHS system. These kind of problems occur if I make a new & fresh share, after rebooting the trouble is gone at my server. if this does not work check if you have av-software working and for another test disable it.
