    Hello

I have installed the windows home server connector on a vista pc.

When I try to open backups of that pc, it begins but the bar stays at 95%.

Does anyone have the same problem?

    kind regards

    Thomas

I have seen that the progress bar pauses a long time at 94-95% but it does finish. One time, it actually went to 101% and then came back down to 100%. I'm using Windows XP Pro.

If I wait long enough, I get the message:

timed out while mounting the backup (or something like that)

I have the same problem on an XP SP2 pc.  When trying to open a backup the progress bar stalls at 95%.  Eventually it will give the timeout message.  I have not been successful in opening any backup.

I have the same issue on one of my XP SP2 systems.  What I have noticed is that, shortly after hitting the 95% mark, the 'My Computer' window (which I had opened earlier) suddenly displayed a Z: drive.  It turned out that the Z drive was the actual backup view it should have displayed automatically.  Opening the Z drive allowed me to restore any files I wanted.  After canceling the 'View Backup' dialog, the Z drive went away.
