AnswerHow long should I let a database repair run for?

One of my HD's failed.  I was able to remove it via the console and install a new one, which I added via the console.  Now I have Database Consistency errors, Backup Service Not Running as well.  I have started a "backup database repair" and it has been running for about 18 hours.  The existing/remaining drives are a 250G and a 120G, and the new empty one a 500G, so not really a huge amount of data.

If I'm dead in the water - suggestions on next steps are appreciated.

    thanks,

    Kyle

    Hi Kyle,
I would remove the backup database (which often is unrepairable) and start over with backups.
Check this thread how to do it.
