    Greetings All !,

I'm probably not in the right Forum but....

Having Downloaded Defender (w/Win/XP) when updating it, does it actually check my Computer's contents, or just apply the update to anything that it encountered from that point forward ?

    Have a good Day ! :)

Good Golf, good Friends or what ever makes you happy !

    Correct.  :)
This is a Windows Home Server forum.

<<Having Downloaded Defender (w/Win/XP) when updating it, does it actually check my Computer's contents, or just apply the update to anything that it encountered from that point forward ?>>
Huh?  Updating the program does just that - it updates the program (specifically, it regularly updates the definition file, just like AV software does.)
Or, do you mean 'when scanning my computer?'
