    Please integrate NAS support for the windows home server!  Why would it NOT have support for this?!

    Because of the way WHS works, it needs physical access to the disk in order to format it to NTFS and do its folder duplication. A NAS with a network share would just not work.

    Hmm you want WHS to support NAS so that you can access your shared folders on your PC via the WHS NAS instead of the other NAS box ?? Pretty dumb if you ask me. Also think about network traffic for each file access, requests go to WHS which again requests the file over network from NAS.

    I use a NORCO 15 bay esata enclosure with each disk added as an individual raid zero.
    No need for NAS as WHS just pulls all the drives into the storage pool.

    I have lost the WHS system disk and rebuilt with no data loss as all storage drives are external to the WHS box
