A NAS with a network share would just not work. Pretty dumb if you ask me. Also think about network traffic for each file access, requests go to WHS which again requests the file over network from NAS.

Mon, 15 Dec 2008 16:14:49 Z2008-12-15T16:14:49Zhttp://social.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/whssuggestions/thread/fb30d11e-9d19-47db-9e30-ce0c9e164d46#640294d5-3cfd-421f-9ba0-d1a4ab246408http://social.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/whssuggestions/thread/fb30d11e-9d19-47db-9e30-ce0c9e164d46#640294d5-3cfd-421f-9ba0-d1a4ab246408Jon MBhttp://social.microsoft.com/Profile/en-US/?user=Jon%20MBNAS support for Windows Home Server! I use a NORCO 15 bay esata enclosure with each disk added as an individual raid zero.
No need for NAS as WHS just pulls all the drives into the storage pool.

I have lost the WHS system disk and rebuilt with no data loss as all storage drives are external to the WHS boxWed, 24 Dec 2008 03:53:09 Z2008-12-24T03:53:09Z
