I can't connect to my main pc at home running Win7 ult. I have been able to connect many times and now I get the error, "the 2 computers couldn't connect in the time allowed..." I removed the pc from the server, even did a clean install last night of Win7, installed all of the windows updates, verified the video card has the latest driver.

Its not a network issue as I can connect remotely to other computers at my home. I just figured after re-installing windows, that would have fixed the problem. When I get home after this connectivity issue, I have to power down the pc by pressing the reset. It appears that it is stuck.

    WHS 2011

Win7 ult 64 Home (trouble one)

    Remotely accessing from:

    Win7 Pro 64 (work pc)

    You thoughts would be appreciated.

Do you have more than one dashboard or RDP session open.

WHS 2011 will only allow 2 concurrent RDP connections.

For example one machine can be logged in via dashboard (actually a disguised RDP session) and another to a RDP session to the server desktop. Any more connections will be rejected with similar if not the same as the error you are getting.

I am nolonger running WHS 2011 as it does not suit my purposes, so am unable to confirm the exact error given.
