I am having some problems with WS08-RTM with Hyper-V (beta) when going thru the HPC2008 Cluster Pack on a VM. There is sufficient disk space on the VM (127GB dynamically expanding VHD), though it errors out during NODE TEMPLATE creation when ADD IMAGE is selected with same WS08-RTM media (both ISO mounted as well as actual DVD redirect within the VM).
ERROR MESSAGE IS:
- [Error] Capturing Image failed: D:\,112
- [Warning] Change failed due to errors during execution.
On a physical (non-VM) headnode, all works fine. I could always transfer the WIM file for the image over from the physical headnode to the VM, though would like to try to debug why this is failing if going all VM route for creating test cluster.

Problem solved. Although VM had dynamically expanding VHD, host server was hosting a number of VMs and ran out of space. Once disk could expand further, problem went away.

Another tidbit of information for those of us playing with HPC2008 on Hyper-V. Note that WS08-RTM includes Hyper-V (BETA), however you can upgrade to Hyper-V (RC0) (Do a search on KB949219 for this free upgrade)..
HOWEVER, after upgrading your Hyper-V VMhost server, you then have to upgrade EVERY SINGLE VM as well with this same hotfix.
Oh, and don't forget, your 'bare metal' Compute Node deployments will FAIL unless you 'slipstream' this same KB949219 into your WIM file(s) on your headnodes and REGENERATE your Node Templates with this new WIM file (with KB949219 slipstreamed onboard).
While you're at it, save yourself add'l future headaches by recreating the WS08-RTM media as an ISO with this KB949219 hotfix rolled in for future headnodes you generate. It's likely new ISOs will be made available once Hyper-V actually ships, so this is merely a short-term 'hassle' during this interim Beta->RC->RTM for Hyper-V.
Please share your experiences/tips re:Hyper-V and HPC2008..

Do you have a link on how to slipstream HyperV RC0 into the WIM files?

There's a couple of good articles (directed towards slipstreaming Vista vs. WS08 using WinPE and ImageX) on the URLs below, however I haven't spent the time to work thru the details just yet....
If someone would like to augment the above guides (see URLs) for WS08 & KB949219, that'd be cool...
