Unanswered Howto setup Dryad DSC

    I'm trying to play with the Dryad samples in HPC SP2, but if I just configure the _headNode and _localShare variables and run one of the samples, it blows up with a DscExeption. I tried to setup the DSC using the dsc.exe commandline tool to add my local computer, but I get a "target machine actively refused the connection" type of error even if I disable my computer's firewall. Does anyone have and steps to configure my system so that I can run these samples?

    Hi,

    Thanks for the feedback. A couple of questions.

    What exception are you getting?

    How did you install Dryad? Did you follow the instructions in the docs that ship with the beta?

    Are the cluster and client on the same domain?

    Is the DscSvc service running on the head node? You should see this in the list of services.
