Microsoft Failover Virtual Adapter
-
Wednesday, August 20, 2008 8:42 PMHi, I built a cluster for Windows 2008 Enterprise Edition but was not able to install SQL Server 2005 on this cluster. When I ping node B from A, it returned an IP of Microsoft Failover Virtual Adapter, not the actual IP address. Does anyone know how to disable that adapter?
TIA

Are you intending to build an HA head node for HPC pack V2? Did you get an error when trying to install SQL Server 2005? If so, please elaborate.
Thanks,

Are you seeing a 169.x.x.x.x address on any other connection?
