ActiveSync 4.5 error code 80072f78
I am receiving the following error during USB sync; support code 80072f78 (!) after sync is completed. The sync is however working OK.
Message: ActiveSync cannot reach the server. Check that the server address and proxy server settings are correct. Support Code 80072f78. Does anyone have a fix for this?

It seems that there is a problem with Desktop Pass-through. Downlooad this reg file to your device and click to save it to the registry:

- Linley I updated the registry and the error code is gone. Thanks very much...I really appreciate it. dp
- You're welcome. You were getting this error because your device was trying to use the PC's connection to access to access the web. this is called Desktop Pass-through technology.
- Where exactly do I put this file on my HTC Touch Pro? I clicked on it, and it said there were no programs associated with it??
