how do I check the amount of free space?
My phone is a pantech duo with windows mobile 6.1. It will give me a message once in a while warning me that I am getting low on free space, but I have not been able to figure out how to check to see exactly how much space is there.

- I actually was finally able to get an answer from my wireless provider, they returned my email finally. It was in the settings, in the "about" section.

- You should be able to check the status in the Task Manager application.

- Well I'm on the road and my Pantech Duo is at home but I have my Q9m with me so this is an "assumption" but my guess is that it is reasonably close and if it is not exact then a little "playing around" will lead you to it. Don't read it if you don't want an assumption.
To see the available memory on the Q9m smartphone, I can do the following:- Select "Start."
- Select "System Tools."
- Select "Memory Manager"
- All the memory stats are listed there

- I'm glad to hear you got. I just got back from my trip, fired up the Pantech and it took a bit to see it .... finally I saw the about page could be scrolled and there it was. Surprisingly, with as little memory as it has, it works surprisingly well.

http://www.mobilitysite.com - I just want you to know that I could not let this one go because I knew there was a a better way to view it but for the life of me I could not remember where it was. I looked and looked but it just went by me so I finally reached out to Mike Temporale over at www.mobilejaw.com and got the answer.
