Memory Getting Full - WM6.1 Samsung i200

I am using Samsung i200 with WM6.1.
I have been using this phone for 6 months. Since last week, I am getting message that Message box is full. I have cleared all the messages in all folders (Inbox, drafts, sent items, deleted items), similarly I have deleted all emails. Still I continue to get the message. Further in Settings > Memory Information, Storage is shown 28.3 MB size, which is completely full. I also have 4 Gb Card which almost empty. Can someone guide me as to How I can free up the Memory. I don't receive SMSs till I clear 4-5 SMSs that are present in my Inbox. Please help.

I'm using a samsung i900 Omnia running windows mobile 6.1

Using POP3 to receive messages without problem. but fails to send every time, giving an error of: "The message(s) could not be sent. Check that you have network coverage and that your account information is correct. Then try sending again"

No anti-virus or popup blockers. Just using the native mail client of Windows Mobile 6.1

I have followed all the configuration instructions to the letter, and can't seem to figure out what's wrong.

Why is it that I am unable to send eMail messages from my HP iPAQ h4150 (Windows Mobile 2003)?

It seems that whenever I attempt to send an eMail message from my iPAQ, I am always greeted with an error. I have used numerous different eMail accounts, and used the same configuration I always had, when it worked before. I even hard reset my machine, and still the same thing. I think the problem might be that firmware upgrade I downloaded and installed from hp perhaps? I remember it always working before that, and never remembered it working afterward.

Any fixes?

have a problem with the outlook, i sync it with the PDA device (sony ericsson experia X1 - WinMobile 6.1) and the content of the notes which in hebrew is now appear like jibrish or somthing ( ºåú; ÷ìéèä ) and its also change the notes on the device to so i dont know what to do, i try some things like reinstall the software or the language on the PC those who in the control panel but nothing is come up.

please somone to help me with this problem, will be very much appreciated

I have an hp iPAQ 4150 running Windows Mobile 2003 (a bit old, I know), and I was wondering if there is any freeware utility that can rotate the screen into a landscape format (320x240 instead of 240x320) for me. It would really make life easier when using Pocket Internet Explorer or using Pocket Excel. I tried using the button that is available in some task managers, but nothing happens at all.

Texting Problem WM 6.5 / Samsung Jack

So I have a Samsung Jack running Windows Mobile 6.5 and over the past 3 days it has been sending a text, same one every time to the person I texted 3 days ago. I have texted many other messages as the other person is my GF but it is stuck on resending just this one message. I assume its only resending this message to this one person as I have not gotten any complaints from anyone else. It sends it about once every 5 minutes which is a major inconvenience to the person on the receiving end. I have tried restarting and pulling the sim card/ battery many times with no luck. Anyone have any advice?

when i get a text while on the phone my palm pro plays the very long song that i have selected. How do I stop this? I have to have the long song to wake me at night.

I have talked to Palm and Sprint about this and there is option to stop the notification while on a call. I need this long song to wake me at night so setting it to a short beep is not going to work. There needs to be a option to turn off notification while on a call.

I have had it for 1 month and am ready to cut my losses and get something else. This product never should have been released.

Ok in previous post on this forum I have to restart the phone daily so reminders work correctly. Now the stupid thing seems to wants to just change the time on the phone randomly. Again the only way to fix it is restart the phone and the clock will reset. I am now having to restart the phone several times a day.

Just looking if anyone has a fix for this. Window Mobile 6.5 on the HTC Tilt 2, no 3rd party apps installed at all.

Yesterday in the afternoon, my phone vibrated to let me know I had a meeting, this was on my drive home at 5:00, however my phone said it was 4:00. It was reminding me of a meeting I had at 4:00 which was done. Yes the phone was locked this whole time. The time didn't accidentally get changed. I restarted the phone and the time was fine. I put the phone on the charger when I got home, when I got up this morning the time was off exactly 27 minutes. I did my normal morning restart in hope reminders would work which reset the time correctly. Then with the phone locked in its holder here at my desk the reminder came up a few minutes ago to let me know about a meeting I had at 10:00, unfortunately it is now 10:22. My phone was off 22 minutes. Again restart and the time resets.

Anyone have any idea how to fix this or what is going on.

I have been a loyal windows CE and Mobile customer for years and still have my orginal HP Jornada before phone was integrated. This 6.5 device is the biggest POS. Had this started last week when I still had 30day to return this would have been gone. Now I am stuck with this thing at least until I am willing to eat the few hundred dollars I paid for this thing. I am so sick of restarting the phone every few hours just to keep it running.

Just got HTC TP2 with Windows Mobile 6.5 and am only receiving Audio and Visual alerts for new messages (and how many there are) in my Inbox and no Audio, Visual, or number count notification (on the main screen) about New Messages in any subfolders.

If I go to the dropdown menu in my inbox to list all the folders, it will display the new message count there.

Using the Exchange to push out emails to alert when equipment or ports go down and emails in general.

Is there a solution to this without installing 3rd party apps (seen a couple posts that say there's a 3rd party app to resolve)?

I have installed and uninstalled Active Synch 4.5 numerous times. I can get my phone to synch the first time I install Active Synch and then it will never open again. No error messages, just nothing. I am trying to launch it through the Start menu. I have tried the setting for it to come up when the phone in connected as well as the manual option. Nothing. It is very frustrating.

I have an ATT 8525 with Windows mobile 6 (I upgraded from 5) I run Audible and have their latest version. My audiobooks are kept on 2G micro SD card. after formatting card and transfering books using audibleManager program works but bad files appear. Only way to clear card is to format it. Have been working with Audible and they cannot recreate the problem. could it be windows mobile 6 and my device(8525)?

Someone contacted me today with a Windows mobile phone that will not turn on. Of course there is no backup and they have important contacts and data on the phone. The data is not on a sim card or on an external memory card. So all the info is on board. Anyone know of any companies that repair Windows mobile devices or data recovery services that will attempt a recovery from a non functional device?

Hi there!!

I bought a WM 6.1 mobile that doesnt have file explorer installed. When I open programs from the start menu, I only have three programs in there, File explorer is nowhere to be found. I want to install some programs in it but I cant find a way how to do it. Program i'm trying to install is in a CAB file.

I have a user that has a new Samsung Jack (Mobile 6.1) phone that is setup with e-mail (Activesync Exchange OWA). E-mail, Calendaring, and Contacts all sync fine over the air...

When selecting a picture, that was taken with the phone, and selecting to send it via e-mail it displays there is no e-mail account setup. I looked through all the settings and cannot understand why it does not just recognize there is an e-mail account setup...

Any suggestions?

I can't access any of my MP3's or playlists using my 8GB SSD card but it works flawlessly with my 4GB card. I can see the files on the 8 GB card and I can select a playlist from file explorer (My Documents). For whatever reason it doesnt work when I try and access a file or playlist from Media Player.

Randomly after reboots icons for programs both installed via the Market place (to device) ande via .cab files (installed to the memory card) vanish and are replaced with this fugly default one.

I have tried replacing the icons that usually vanish with 90x90 png's installed via a icon chnaging app. The new icons show in that icon changer but usually don't in the start menu...

Annoyingly every-so-often, for no reason, all the icons reappear!

This is a really grating little fault as it doesn't seem to have a real reason... please tell me theres a registry quirk or something I can do?

In a recent days I see next error message: "BTTRAYCE' is not a valid Pocket PC application", on each restart of PDA. All bluetooth buttons are disable.

Can someone to help fix it?

More often then I need I am getting this error message, yet any other site (mail provider) is working just fine, ONLY and I repeat ONLY Microsoft Live is giving me the terrible message, so I do not think it is a problem with my mobile service provider

(T-Mobile USA) nor with my HTC Snap running WM 6.5 on unlocked device but with Windows Live.

What are you thought?

...so I really would like to get rid of this PoS WinMo from my life but now this junk WinMo holds all my recent data hostage.
I put up with this PoC for YEARS but enough is enough and thanks God, finally we have Android phones, doing everything this ____ WinMO is unable to perform properly and a lot more, all this without the signature frustration of WinMo that randomly turned even the best WinMo apps into nightmare stories (thanks to its utter junk kernel, process handling, memory management etc etc)...

...soooooo that's enough for venting - whatshould I do with this PoS WMDC ____ if all I can see on my machine is "Pcoket PC USB Sync" and nothing else. It used to appear in My computer (God, who's the retard who pushes for all this "My" at Microsoft?) as it should be, with a nice Xperia icon (it's an X1i)...

...but no more. Few weeks ago I noticed it stopped connecting but I didn't really care because Dashwire was syncing fine (MS MyPhone is not only 10x slower than Dashwire but also stupidly WinMo-only - ROFL!) But now that I wanted to get my info it turns out Dashwire is switching to provider-based business model, buh-bye for us, who beta tested their ____ for free...

...soooo: is there anything I can do with the damned "Windows Mobile-based USB device is plugged in but is unable to make a network connection to the desktop" error message?

PS: yes, I'm really this fed up with this utter piece of junk called Windows Mobile (and WMDC as well.)

I am using pjsip wrapper to create avoip application and i am able to establish a call over wifi but when i switch to GPRS the sip protocol is working fine but the RTP packets are not reaching the server.I am using a public IP for server behind a firewall. Please note that i am using windoww mobile 5 devices.

All day at work I was trying unsuccessfully to listern to music - wether using Media Player or the built in Samsung music player, the device would play a few tracks then give up at the end of a track...

If at this time you press play it will simply keep counting on the timer, but wont play anything. If you skip to the next track then it gets going again.

I'm trying to replicate it now, but for some reason playback seems absolutely fine... maybe windows phone is allergic to my place of work? Of course it worked perfectly the day before...

The device in question is the Samsung Omnia II GT-I8000 if that helps at all

I am switching from Nokia 5800 running symbian S60 5th edition to HTC HD2 running Windows Mobile.
I want to move my contacts and messages from the S60 to Windows Mobile. For contacts I know I can use Outlook. But what about messages. Is there a way to keep messages, even if it involves moving them 1 by 1 via bluetooth?

Blocking Internet Access

I am developing applications for a scanner that runs Windows Mobile 6 Professional. The company that is buying these scanners with our application on it, wants them to be blocked from accessing the Internet (with any browser). However, we need to retain wireless access to the company's intranet, so that our application can talk to our database.

Are there any registry settings or other such configurations that would accomplish this? Or, how would you go about getting this done?

Hi.
I have HTC Touch 2 Mega with Windows Mobile 6.5 and no default voice command software.
I try to install different voice dial/command applications but none can use bluetooth headset voice dial button(hold about 2 sec.)

Additionally Microsoft Voice Command do not work on my device after i push defined on my phone key that initiate ms voice command application i only hear error beep and noise in main speaker.

So I have a new Tilt 2 phone. One of the disapointments was the lack of storage on the device so I would like to free space up by removing garbage. I do not think Microsoft put on some of the crapware. I would suspect AT&T put a lot of it on since it has thier name in the title. However there is some I could do without from Microsoft. For example Microsoft Money, since Microsoft is no longer making Microsoft Money for the PC, why would it be on my phone? What am I going to sync it with? Yeah I am bitter about Microsoft killing off Money, but not the mobile teams fault, I would still like it gone though since I have no use for it and never will. Games like Ferrari GT Evolution, Ms Pac Man when launched come up and say my subscription to these games has expired, would you like to purchase a subscription. My Answer is since it is something I have to pay extra for on a brand new phone, how about I just make it go away all together to free up space for a game or app I want to play and pay for. However none of these things show up in Add Remove Programs. So how can I get rid of them?

Hi,
I lost audio after installation of TomTom 7.
I've searched for this problem and i found that two files were created on the \windows directory by TT7, the files are btcoreif.dll and btsdkce30.dll.

I can't find these files on the \windows directory.
So, my question:
Are those files included in the default \windows directory and were deleted by TT7 or not?

My O2 XDA Atom (Windows Mobile 5) has issues,

Sometimes the touch screen doesn't work, and the sound doesn't work when this happens.
Sometimes it won't turn on at all, even with a fully charged battery.
And it sometimes crashes when a txt comes in.

A softreset usually sets it straight again, but only for a short while.

I've updated the ROM to the latest version and even reinstalled it a few times, but this doesn't help.

I can't take it back because I bought it of Ebay.

What can I do?

The Windows Mobile Device Center is installed and configured to accept USB connections and automatically recognize devices, but nithing happens ! ... any one who has solved this issue recently ?
