QuestionWindows Mobile Device Center crashes on loading in Vista Home Premium

I, too, have had a new Verizon Imagio, running WinMo 6.5, for about 3 weeks.  For the first 10 or so days Windows Mobile Device Center ran just fine, as it always had for my previous HTC PDA phone, synchronizing everything properly.  Then, suddenly, WMDC started always crashing at start-up, giving the message that it "has stopped working," and follows with the message that it will notify me "if a solution is available."  An update for WMDC did come this week, but the "fix" still crashes the same way.  I have removed it and reinstalled WMDC several times now, both from Verizon's distribution CD, as well as from the newest file downloaded from Microsoft.  I have done this with anti-virus off.  I apply any computer updates daily.  Furthermore, I have cleaned any errors out of my outlook.pst files using Outlook's provided scanpst.exe, as was suggested elsewhere.  It started failing under Vista SP1; yesterday I installed SP2 --WMDC still fails.  The failure will happen whether or not the Imagio is plugged in to the computer's USB port.

Interestingly, the Imagio will partially synchronize with the PC's Outlook with only Sync Center, but "Interestingly" isn't enough.  Help, please!!
